Salazar Architect’s primary role was to elaborate and expand on the prior community engagement work, while advancing the master plan. They first collaborated with DEQ and the McRaes to develop a community engagement process involving key stakeholders in Bay City and the surrounding neighborhood. Drawing on insights from similar master planning workshops Salazar Architect conducted in the Pacific Northwest, they created project-specific community engagement tools, methods, and boards.
